📨 Yahoo Mail Forwarding Setup
Automatically forward subscription emails from Yahoo Mail to Duely
- Go to Yahoo Mail and sign in
- Click the ⚙️ gear icon in the top right
- Select More Settings from the dropdown
- In the left sidebar, click Filters
- Click Add new filters
- Filter name:
Forward to Duely
- Set the filter conditions:
Option A: Filter by Subject Keywords
- Subject: contains
subscription
Click "Add another filter" to add more:
- Subject: contains
renewal
- Subject: contains
receipt
- Subject: contains
billing
Option B: Filter by Sender
- From: contains
netflix.com
- From: contains
spotify.com
- From: contains
apple.com
💡 Tip: Yahoo filters use OR logic when you add multiple conditions, so any matching email will be forwarded.
- Under "Then", select Forward
- Enter your Duely forwarding email:
your-unique-id@inbound.getduely.app
- Click Save
⚠️ Note: Yahoo may send a verification email to your Duely address. This is normal - Duely will process and ignore verification emails.
Create separate filters for different subscription categories:
🎬 Entertainment Filter
Name: Entertainment Subscriptions
From contains:
- netflix.com
- hulu.com
- disneyplus.com
- hbomax.com
- spotify.com
- apple.com
Then: Forward to Duely
💼 Software & Services Filter
Name: Software Subscriptions
From contains:
- adobe.com
- microsoft.com
- dropbox.com
- slack.com
- zoom.us
- notion.so
Then: Forward to Duely
🛒 Shopping & Delivery Filter
Name: Shopping Subscriptions
From contains:
- amazon.com
- walmart.com
- costco.com
- instacart.com
- doordash.com
Then: Forward to Duely
- Filter order matters: Yahoo processes filters in order - put your forwarding filters at the top
- Keep a copy: Yahoo's forward action sends a copy - the original stays in your inbox
- Check Spam folder: Some subscription emails may land in Spam - mark them as "Not Spam"
- Test your filters: Send yourself a test email with "subscription" in the subject to verify
- Regular cleanup: Review and update your filters periodically as you add new subscriptions
If you want to forward all subscription-related emails without creating multiple filters:
- Go to Settings → Mailboxes
- Click on your Yahoo account
- Find Forwarding section
- Enable forwarding to your Duely address
⚠️ Caution: This forwards ALL emails, not just subscriptions. Use filters for more control over what gets forwarded.
