📬 Outlook Forwarding Setup

Automatically forward subscription emails from Outlook.com or Microsoft 365

Access Outlook Settings

  1. Go to Outlook.com and sign in
  2. Click the ⚙️ gear icon in the top right
  3. Click View all Outlook settings at the bottom

Create an Inbox Rule

  1. Go to MailRules
  2. Click Add new rule
  3. Name your rule: Forward to Duely
  4. Under "Add a condition", select conditions:

Recommended conditions:

• "Subject or body includes" → subscription, renewal, receipt, billing, invoice

• OR "From" → add specific sender domains like netflix.com, spotify.com

  1. Under "Add an action", select Forward to
  2. Enter your Duely forwarding email:
    your-unique-id@inbound.getduely.app
  3. Click Save

Example Rule Setup

Here's how to set up a comprehensive subscription forwarding rule:

Rule Name: Forward Subscriptions to Duely

Conditions (select "Add another condition" to add multiple):

  • Subject includes: subscription
  • Subject includes: renewal
  • Subject includes: receipt
  • Subject includes: billing
  • Subject includes: payment confirmed

Actions:

  • Forward to: your-unique-id@inbound.getduely.app

⚠️ Important: Outlook rules with multiple conditions use AND logic by default. Create separate rules for each condition, or use "any" matching if available.

Open Rules Manager

  1. Open Outlook desktop application
  2. Go to FileManage Rules & Alerts
  3. Click New Rule...

Create the Rule

  1. Select "Apply rule on messages I receive"
  2. Click Next
  3. Check "with specific words in the subject or body"
  4. Click on "specific words" and add:
    • subscription
    • renewal
    • receipt
    • billing
    • invoice
  5. Click Next

Set Forward Action

  1. Check "forward it to people or public group"
  2. Click on "people or public group"
  3. Enter your Duely forwarding email:
    your-unique-id@inbound.getduely.app
  4. Click OKNext
  5. Add any exceptions if needed, then click Next
  6. Name the rule and click Finish
