Here are some effective filter patterns you can use:
🎬 Streaming Services
From:
netflix.com OR hulu.com OR disneyplus.com OR hbomax.com OR peacocktv.com OR paramountplus.com OR crunchyroll.com
🎵 Music & Audio
From:
spotify.com OR apple.com OR tidal.com OR pandora.com OR audible.com OR deezer.com
💼 Productivity & Software
From:
adobe.com OR microsoft.com OR dropbox.com OR notion.so OR slack.com OR zoom.us OR canva.com OR figma.com
🏋️ Fitness & Wellness
From:
peloton.com OR fitbit.com OR headspace.com OR calm.com OR strava.com OR myfitnesspal.com
- Create multiple filters: Make separate filters for different categories of subscriptions
- Keep copies: The filter forwards a copy - your original email stays in Gmail
- Exclude spam: Add
-unsubscribe -promotional to "Doesn't have" to reduce noise
- Test it: Send yourself a test email with "subscription" in the subject to verify the filter works
⚠️ Note: Gmail may take a few minutes to start applying new filters. If emails aren't forwarding immediately, wait 5-10 minutes and try again.
